Justification For Request

What research has led to this request?

CCU would have the only online Master of Accountancy program in the state of South Carolina. UNC-Chapel Hill has an online MAcc, but we are hoping to capture the interest of South Carolina residents who would pay in-state tuition.

What impact will this request have on existing academic programs?

Our goal is to increase enrollment in the MAcc. We hope to reach students from across the state who may not be able to drive to a campus to attend night classes.

What financial costs are associated with this request?

Students would have the additional DL lab fee of $75 per course. The department would use the same resources we have been using for face-to-face delivery of courses.
