Brown Bag Lunch Seminars scheduled at WRC

The Women's Resource Center is hosting a series of informal brown bag lunch seminars covering topics of interest to the CCU community. The lunches provide opportunities to discuss hot topics, challenges, solutions, and to share ideas and inspirations. All CCU faculty, staff, and students are welcome to bring lunch and join in.

The Brown Bag lunch series will meet the first Friday of the month during September, October and November at noon in WALL 313. Specific dates and topics follow:

On Oct. 1, the topic is Domestic Violence (to kick off domestic violence awareness month), and Bevelyn Mitchell from the Rape Crisis Center will join the discussion.

On Nov. 5, Dr. Kristin Bohan, a psychologist and founder of myTERMS is tentatively scheduled to discuss the impact of popular culture on girls.
