It's a family affair: (Two more of) Woodle's daughters graduate with medical degrees

Jackie and Tom Woodle celebrated the May graduations of two of their daughters who earned degrees in medical fields. Woodle is director of the Career Services Center at CCU.

Jennifer Erin Shelton graduated from George Washington University on May 16 with a master’s degree in public health, as a physician’s assistant. She and her husband Gordon live in Norfolk, Va., where she will be practicing with a surgical group.

Jessica Lynn Brown graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston with a Doctor of Medicine degree on May 21. She is a resident in obstetrics/gynecology at MUSC and lives in James Island with her husband, Brian Brown.

If that's not impressive enough, the Woodles have four other daughters and a son, a total of seven children. "I'm not sure if it's making me old or keeping me young," says Woodle.

Here's the lineup:

Twenty-two-year-old Brittney Woodle is a senior at USC studying criminal justice.

Christy Montgerard is a veterinarian in Charlotte.

Meredith Woodle is a trauma nurse at MUSC.

Kelly Shepherd teaches high school dance in Virginia Beach.

Brad Clarke, the only son, is the "free spirit" of the family who is currently teaching surfing in Costa Rica with plans to move to Lake Tahoe and work at a ski resort.

"He may be the only one who truly has figured out things," jokes Woodle.
