Update from the Edwards College

About 20 new faculty hires will begin in August in the Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. 

Carol Osborne has already begun her duties as associate dean. Holly Tankersley will officially begin her term as associate dean on Aug.16.

 A few transitions of chair positions will also occur in August, when Nils Rauhut will begin a term as chair of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Arne Flaten will chair the Department of Visual Arts, and Matthieu Chan Tsin begins his first year as the “official” full-time chair of World Languages and Cultures. Maria Bachman has already begun her work as the chair of the English Department this summer. Dan Ennis, who is currently pursuing his Fulbright-Hays assignment in Morocco, is the new interim dean of the Edwards College.
