CCU students selected finalists for best college photography

Two Coastal Carolina University art studio students – Tracy Fish and Mathew Parise – have been selected as finalists for Photographer’s Forum Magazine’s “Best of College Photography 2012” issue. More than 17,000 photographs were submitted to the competition.

Fish is from Brooklyn, N.Y., and plans to graduate in December of this year with a concentration in photography. It's her second year in a row being a finalist with Photographers Forum Best of College Photography.

Parise, from Bay Ridge, N.Y., plans to graduate in spring 2013. He also has a photography emphasis.

The photographs were taken in the studio lighting course with new equipment, according to Easton Selby, assistant professor of art and photography.
