Outdoor notification speakers added on campus

Coastal Carolina University has added a mass notification system (MNS) and added an indoor and outdoor notification capability. The new system has been tested and will include multiple tones and voice messages broadcast through high-powered speakers on four poles erected throughout the main campus.

Carissa A. Medeiros, emergency management director, will be sending out additional information about the system in the future.
