Oracle Blue still playing jazz

CCU's award-winning Jazz Combo that recently toured Europe and played at the prestigious Montreux Festival has a new name – Oracle Blue.

Since the five musicians graduated in May 2016, the Jazz Combo decided to get a new name and continue playing together.

The musicians are Liz Kelley-Tavernier, Tim Hardwick, Wade McMillan, JP Taylor and McKinley Devilbliss.

This was a great year for the group. During the spring the combo was named the Best Undergrad Pop/Jazz group by DownBeat magazine. And then there was Montreux. During the 10-day tour in June , the students performed at the prestigious jazz festival in Switzerland and as well as other jazz events in France and Italy.
