Coastal Open Golf Championship coming up Sept. 17-18

The Fourth Annual Coastal Open Golf Championship will be held at the General James Hackler Golf Course at Coastal Carolina University on Sept. 17 and 18..

The Coastal Open is a 36-hole stroke-play event. All skill levels are welcome to participate. There are four different divisions in which to play, and you can choose the best one for your skill level.

Registration ends Sept. 15, and a practice round for participants will be on Sept. 17, costing $25. Call 843-349-6600 to sign up.

* Chanticleer Division - $175
Gross Division, must be at least 18 year of age – played from approximately 6,900 yards

* Hackler’s Division - $150
60 years and older. This division will be flighted according to the score for the second round – played from approximately 5,900 yards

* General’s Division - $150
Must be at least 18 years of age. This division will be flighted according to the score for the second round – played from approximately 6,500 yards

A 20 percent discount is available to all faculty, staff and students for the flight listed.
