Woodle’s ‘Blessed Burdens’ opens at museum

The exhibit “Logan Woodle: Blessed Burdens,” with 19 metal and wood sculptures, is on display at the Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum, 3100 S. Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach, through Dec. 30.

Woodle is assistant professor of art at CCU. He designed and constructed the 7-foot bronze Chauncey statue at the entrance of the University’s TD Sports Complex; art students were also involved in the process.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. For details, call 843-238-2510 or visit myrtlebeachartmuseum.org.
