Get your 'Fast Track' training this summer

The Office of Training, Development and Service Excellence (TDSE) has announced the Summer 2017 "Fast Track" Training Institute for Emerging Leaders, Managers and Supervisors program.The "Fast Track" series is intended to provide employees a comprehensive approach to Training Institute Track One completion.

Sessions will be offered from May 17 to June 28. The Training Institute (TI) was designed to create a culture that encourages, supports and invests in the short- and long-term development of CCU employees. Currently, there are many employees at CCU who fill a supervisory, management or leadership role. In addition, there are employees who do not currently serve in a management role but who aspire to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their own professional development. The TI has been designed to enhance employee self-awareness and build expertise on a variety of management and leadership issues.

The Training Institute acknowledges the accomplishments of program registrants using a certification platform. For example, employees who elect to receive program certification are required to complete the Training Institute registration form, followed by the successful completion of program requirements. All Training Institute sessions will require registration through the Training, Development and Service Excellence registration site at TDSE Training Opportunities and must be completed within one year from the registrant’s initial start date.

Note: Employees may elect to participate in individual TI sessions without committing to the Track I certification requirements.
