Academic Office/Classroom Building II is open

The $18 million Academic Office Classroom Building II has been completed with more than 100 faculty and staff now occupying the offices. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m.

There are three study rooms and 16 classrooms ranging in size from 25 to 35 seats that were utilized the first day of classes. In the main hallway, you can see the ITS servers in the teal cabinets. The food concept is operated by Aramark, and includes a new P.O.D. Express (Provisions on Demand). Options include Grab and Go items with meal swipe options, Chloe’s Soft Serve Fruit, Java City Coffee, Einsteins’ Bros. Bagels, soup and select over-the-counter medicines.

The 52,000-square-foot facility is located next to the Wall Building and also houses ITS office and space.
