Joining the CCU family at the end of an academic year makes for a quiet beginning. Meet these eight new employees who just experienced their first full CCU summer!
Don Batt is a system engineer and manager with ITS.
Mark Como is a project manager in resource and administration with ITS. His favorite food is pizza and his hobby is racing and restoring old muscle cars. He owns a horse farm with his wife and daughter.
Elif Gokbel has joined CeTEAL and is currently a doctoral candidate at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She loves to travel, hike and spend time with her family.
William Miller has joined Facilities Operations as a first shift custodian. His hobbies are martial arts, bushcraft, physical fitness, cooking, science and reading. He is originally from Herndon, Va.
Stephanie Rhea is a project coordinator with international recruitment and admissions in the Center for Global Admissions. She was a four-year student-athlete in acrobatics and tumbling and loves to travel to new places, documenting the place with a photograph of her doing a handstand in front of it!
Steven Taylor is an academic adviser in the Wall College of Business. He is originally from Chicago, Ill., and enjoys reading and exercising.
Sue Weber is an administrative specialist in the Gupta College of Science. She is originally from Lancaster, Pa., and recently became a new grandparent!
Patricia “Trish” Wilson is an academic adviser in the Wall College of Business. She loves Cajun food, softball, golfing, quilting, hiking and travel. She is originally from New Orleans, but spent 14 years in the Middle East for work.
