“Paying for College,” a free seminar designed to help prospective students and parents of college students understand the opportunities available for financial aid, will be held Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. in Coastal Carolina University’s Wall Auditorium. The event is being co-sponsored by Coastal and Horry-Georgetown Technical College.

Financial aid officials will explain the various types of aid available to students, including Pell Grants, student loans and work study programs. The seminar is being offered as part of South Carolina Financial Aid Awareness Month, which is February.
