OL students on stage

Welcome to Your University!

On behalf of the Orientation staff, welcome to your University. The Coastal Carolina University Orientation program is designed to help students transition to college and assist family members in understanding their students’ experience during this exciting time. Entering an academic community is an important, and sometimes stressful, time in a person's life – let us help you along the way. All of us are excited to share this experience with you and can't wait to introduce you to the Coastal Carolina University community.

This website contains information about our programs, dates and registration procedures for upcoming sessions, an introduction to the Orientation Team, and other helpful resources to prepare you for the adventure ahead.

All incoming degree-seeking students are required to complete an orientation session prior to the start of classes. If you are attending college for the first time or have earned less than 24 credit hours post-high school graduation, you will attend a New Student Orientation. For transfer students who have earned 24 or more credit hours post-high school graduation, you will attend Transfer Orientation. If you are a distance learning or degree completion (Nursing and Health Administration) student, you will complete online orientation.

We look forward to meeting you this summer!
