Coastal Carolina University will host its annual Family Weekend Oct. 20 to 22. More than 700 people are expected to attend the event, which will include activities for the entire family.

Family Weekend provides planned activities for families of students attending Coastal. The event gives parents and other family members the opportunity to visit Coastal's campus and to meet faculty and university administrators in a relaxed setting.

During Family Weekend a special event is planned for each of Coastal's four colleges with additional programs planned for senior class members, Honors Program students and student research participants.

The weekend also includes a President's Social on the Kingston Lady Riverboat, historic Conway riverboat and walking tours, a tour of Waites Island, S.C., a golf tournament and athletic events.
