The BITE (Business, Investment, Tourism and Economics) Report, a study
by four Coastal Carolina University faculty/staff members, will be presented
on Friday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. in the boardroom of the E. Craig Wall Sr.
College of Business Administration. The event is free and open to the
public.
The BITE Report will provide practical information for businesspersons,
investors and anyone else who may be interested in learning more about the
business environment and the economic outlook for the region.
Gary Loftus, director of the Coastal Federal Center for Community and
Economic Development, will discuss the local business environment. Mark
Mitchell, professor of marketing and chair of the Department of Business
Management, Marketing, RTM and Law, will discuss local investment
opportunities. Taylor Damonte, associate professor of resort tourism
management and director of the Brittan Center for Tourism Study, will
discuss the local tourism industry. Yoav Wachsman, assistant professor of
economics, will discuss the local and national economy.
