Veteran marine scientist from Scripps Institution to speak at CCU

Jeff Graham, a research physiologist/marine biologist from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego, Calif., will give a talk, "Sharks, Tunas, Sea Snakes and Mudskippers: Highlights from a Career in Marine Biology" on Wednesday, March 21 at 4:30 p.m. in the Wall College of Business building, room 309, at Coastal Carolina University. The event is free and open to the public.

Graham is the author of the book "Air-Breathing Fishes: Evolution, Diversity and Adaptation." His studies have taken him from the rainforests of Panama to the Pacific Ocean, where he has conducted significant studies on great white and other sharks, air-breathing fishes, yellow-bellied sea snakes, albacore and other marine and freshwater species.
