Senior art students display work in CCU exhibit

"Portfolios: Visual Arts Department Graduating Seniors," an exhibit showcasing selected works of fine art and design by 31 Coastal Carolina University graduating senior art majors, will be held April 26 through May 5 at the Rebecca Randall Bryan Gallery on campus. A public reception for the exhibit is scheduled for Thursday, April 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.

Coastal's Department of Visual Arts offers a bachelor's degree in studio art with concentrations in graphic design, painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, sculpture, ceramics and art education. The department also offers a Master of Arts in Teaching degree with a specialization in art. The university has more than 175 majors, 11 full-time faculty and eight part-time faculty.
