The Coastal Carolina University Department of Public Safety is conducting a training exercise on the Conway campus today, Tuesday, Aug. 5, from noon to 3 p.m. with Horry County Police and Emergency Medical Services. The exercises will be at Elm Hall and Brooks Stadium parking lot.

The presence of police, fire or EMS vehicles on campus will be part of the training exercise, and the campus community should not be alarmed. In the event of an actual emergency, the campus community will be notified in the traditional manner of e-mail, text messaging and the University Web site.
