Coastal Carolina University is sponsoring a five-day series of events and activities to educate students on the responsible use of alcohol. Scheduled from Monday, Oct. 13 to Saturday, Oct. 18, the events coincide with the national 2008 Alcohol Awareness Month.
• Monday, Oct. 13, Carnival Fair, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Prince Lawn, featuring food, music, games, contests and other activities addressing binge drinking and the misuse of alcohol.
• Wednesday, Oct. 15, HBO documentary, "Addiction: Why Can't They Just Stop?" 7 p.m., Wall Auditorium, refreshments, free
