Coastal Carolina University to hold faculty art show

Coastal Carolina University's Department of Visual Arts presents its Faculty Biennial, featuring painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, mixed-media, textiles and jewelry on exhibit from Thursday, Jan. 22 to Friday, March 6 in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery. The gallery is located in room 128 of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts.

The public is invited to the opening reception on Thursday, Jan. 22 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The reception and exhibition are both free and open to the public.

Participating faculty are: Steven Bleicher (mixed-media), Cynthia Farnell (photomontage), Daryl Fazio (graphic design), Elizabeth Keller (ceramics), Maura Kenny (painting), Rich Kuhn (painting), Treelee Macann (printmaking), Penelope Miller (textiles), Paul Olsen ( photography), Daniel Powell (painting), Lidia Sacharny (sculpture), John Schiro (painting), Easton Selby (photography), Susan Slavik (jewelry) and Christine Todd (sculpture).

All Bryan Gallery programs are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; closed weekends and University holidays. More information and directions are available on the Web at www.coastal.edu/bryanartgallery.
