Coastal Carolina University President David A. DeCenzo will address members of the South Carolina Conference of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) when they meet on the University campus Saturday, April 4, at 10 a.m. DeCenzo will outline measures the University has taken to deal with recent budget cuts caused by the current economic downturn. He will also answer questions from the audience. The conference, which is hosted by the Coastal Carolina University chapter of AAUP, will be held in the Wall Boardroom on the second floor of the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration.

At 11:15 a.m. Catherine Warren, vice chair of the Association of State Conferences of AAUP, will speak on "The Budget Crisis and the Disappearing Faculty."
