"How a College Degree Can Change Your Life," a
free seminar
outlining options available to individuals interested in completing a
college degree, will be held Wednesday, May 30 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the
H. Dale Williams Center for Extended Learning at Coastal Carolina
University.
"According to The Chronicle of Higher Education, about 27 percent
of all American adults have some college but no college degree," said
Peter Balsamo, dean of Coastal's Division of Extended Learning and
Public Services.
The seminar will address various degree completion options
available through Coastal including traditional and non-traditional
degree programs. Other areas of focus will include distance learning,
online courses, tuition assistance, financial aid, portfolio assessment
and regional accreditation.
