Spring recital set for April 21 at Coastal Carolina University

Students of the Coastal Carolina University flute studio, under the direction of Amy Hardison Tully, will present a spring recital at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, in the Recital Hall of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts.

The group will be accompanied on piano by Rebecca Rollins, Andy Fowler and Sarah Abushakra.

Tully, assistant professor of music at CCU, is principal flutist with the Long Bay Symphony in Myrtle Beach, and associate principal with the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra in Fayetteville, N.C. She teaches flute and music history, and holds memberships in the National Flute Association and the South Carolina Flute Society.

Members of the CCU flute studio include Doris Glass, Casey Hawkins, Rachael Lilly, Rebecca Newton, Victoria Panos, Rachel Pedersen, Leanne Smith and Kim Welch.

General admission is $3. Admission is free for CCU and Horry-Georgetown Technical College students (one ticket per valid ID), faculty and staff (two per valid ID) and children 10 and under.
