'Bigfoot' composer to hold Q &A

To promote the upcoming Atlantic Stage production of 'Bigfoot and Other Lost Souls,' Mark Hollmann, who composed the music and lyrics for the play, will be holding a Question & Answer session at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 in the Edwards Theatre located in the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts at Coastal Carolina University. The event is free and open to the public.

Hollmann is the Tony Award-winning composer of the Broadway musical "Urinetown." A native of Illinois, Hollman is a former member of the Cardiff-Giant Theatre Company in Chicago. He played trombone for the Chicago art-rock band Maestro Subgum and the Whole, and he played piano for the Second City national touring company. He attended musical theatre writing workshops in Chicago and New York.

"Bigfoot and Other Lost Souls" will run from Jan. 26 to Feb. 11 at 79th Avenue Theatre, located at the intersection of 79th Avenue North and U.S. 17 Bypass in Myrtle Beach. For the complete schedule and ticket information for the play, call 1-877-ATS-TKTS (1-877-287-8587).
