CCU flute studio presents fall recital

The Coastal Carolina University Flute Studio will present its fall recital, featuring classical and modern flute compositions, in the recital hall of Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited, but a ticket is required.

The Flute Studio, under the direction of Amy Hardison Tully, will feature works by J.S. Bach, Katherine Hoover, Claude Debussy, Benjamin Godard, Philippe Gaubert and Cecile Chaminade. The students will be accompanied by CCU pianists Rebecca Rollins and Daniel Francis.

Tickets may be purchased from the Wheelwright Box Office, or prior to the performance. The hours are Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. General admission is $3; seniors and alumni, $3; CCU and Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) students and faculty, free with a ticket and valid ID; and children (10 and under) are free and must be accompanied by an adult.
