Students from Coastal Carolina University's SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) team are sponsoring "Make a Difference Week," which will culminate with a raffle/public awareness event on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Myrtle Beach Wal-Mart located on Highway 501.

Students will operate a booth in front of the store from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering information on the importance of strengthening the economy by buying goods, particularly American-made products. Items in the raffle include many South Carolina-made goods and services, including gift certificates from area restaurants and golf courses as well as textile products made by Milliken and tea from the Great American Tea Company of Charleston.
