Girls & Women in Sports Day Clinic set for Feb. 2

In recognition of the 27th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day, Coastal Carolina University will hold a free Sports Clinic featuring women's sports for ages 5 to 12 on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Brooks Stadium. The free clinic will give participants a chance to experience different women's sports with members of Chanticleer women's athletic teams and CCU club sports teams. Auto Insurance reviews

The first 100 who register will receive a packet of Coastal Carolina "Silly Bandz." Participants will also meet Chauncey, the University's mascot, and be entered to win a Chauncey Sports Party to be held at a Chanticleer athletic event. Complimentary drinks will be provided.

Clinic participants will be recognized during the Chanticleer Women's Lacrosse Play Day, beginning at noon in Brooks Stadium. In addition, all participants will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the women's basketball game at 4:30 p.m. against Radford University in the new HTC Center on campus. Additional basketball tickets for parents or guardians are only $5.
