Coastal Carolina University Head Baseball Coach Gary Gilmore will be at LIDS Locker Room in Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach on Saturday, Feb. 9, to promote the opening of the Chanticleers' baseball season.

Gilmore will meet with fans and sign autographs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will also feature an appearance from the CCU mascot, Chauncey. LIDS Locker Room offers a wide selection of Chanticleer-themed merchandise.

"LIDS continues to be a fantastic retail partner and has been an integral force in helping to grow our trademark licensing program," said Matt Hogue, associate vice president for marketing at Coastal Carolina University. "What better way to showcase the Chanticleer brand than the combination of one of the nation's leading retailers of headwear and baseball caps and one of the nation's elite college baseball coaches in Coach Gilmore."

Within the Grand Strand region alone, more than 45 retailers stock and sell official Coastal Carolina University products, and more than 175 vendors worldwide are licensed to produce CCU-branded merchandise.
