Concept of "Unconditional Love" explored at Lackey Chapel

March 21, 2013

Tom Woodle, a teaching associate in Coastal Carolina University's department of philosophy and religious studies, presents "Insights from World Religions: Living in Love -- Agape: The Christian Concept of Unconditional Love" on Monday, March 25 at 4:30 p.m. in Lackey Chapel. The discussion is free and open to the public.

In the New Testament, "love" is translated as the Koine word "agape." Woodle, an ordained Episcopal priest, will explore this concept of unconditional love and its prevalence in Christian theology.

The event is co-sponsored by CCU's Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, the Jackson Family Center for Ethics and Values and the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies.
