Fall Farmers Market to deliver the goods Sept. 26

September 19, 2013

Coastal Carolina University's Fall Farmers Market, sponsored by the CCU Sustainability Initiative, takes place on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Prince Lawn. The event, featuring local produce and products, is open to the public.

In cooperation with the Waccamaw Market Cooperative, the Farmers Market also offers a variety of items, such as jams, jellys, dressings and more, all prepared by area growers. Payments in debit/credit, cash and check are accepted. Free reusable bags will be handed out at the sustainability table, while they last at the Sustain Coastal table.

This year's Farmers Market will include a Sustainability Fair with informational booths by campus organizations, departments and community organizations about going green and living a healthier lifestyle.

Prince Lawn is located in the middle of campus in front of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts and the Eldred Prince building.
