The goal of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Coastal Carolina University is to provide seasoned adults with intellectual, physical, cultural and social stimulation. More than 350 fee courses -- in art and photography, computer technology, foreign languages, history and government, literature and writing, music, theater and film, personal growth and skills, philosophy and religion, and science and nature -- help accomplish this goal.

Some classes, like Tai Chi and Yoga, provide gentle exercise; others will get you moving to music (Middle Eastern dance, ballroom dancing, shag dancing). Still others address specific issues facing us as we age:
