Coastal Carolina University is hosting a CCU Farmers Market & Sustainability Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Prince Lawn with more than 25 vendors and 10 sustainability booths. The public is invited to browse and purchase local produce and products.

In cooperation with the Waccamaw Market Cooperative, the Farmers Market will include a variety of local, seasonal items available for purchase. Payments in debit/credit, cash and check are accepted.

Activities include:

- Free food samples

- Free eco-friendly giveaways

- Healthy lifestyle and eating ideas

- Sustainability information

- Recipe ideas

Prince Lawn is located in the middle of campus in front of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts and the Eldred Prince building.

Community parking is available in Lots GG (behind Baxley Hall) and KK (behind Lackey Chapel), and a map is available online at coastal.edu/sustain.
