The 2001-2002 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges includes the names of 34 Coastal Carolina University students. Students are selected based on their academic achievement, community service, leadership roles and potential for success by a campus nominating committee and the editors of the annual directory.

First published in 1934, the directory includes students from more than 1,900 institutions of higher education in the United States, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations.

All Coastal honorees will be recognized at the university's 2002 honors convocation in April. They include:
