Spectrum concert to be performed during Family Weekend
The concert will feature student music ensembles from the Department of Music in a multisensory, fast pace, hour-long evening of music. The bands include the CCU Drumline, CCU Jazz Ensemble, CCU Brass Ensemble, Low Brass Ensemble, Funk Fusion Combo, Percussion Ensemble, Sax Ensemble and the CCU Symphonic Orchestra. The concert will take audience members through a "spectrum" of ranges from guitars to drums to orchestral, with styles ranging from traditional band to classical, jazz and show tunes.
Teens, CCU and HGTC alumni, OLLI members, groups and senior citizens receive a 20 percent discount. CCU and HGTC students can purchase tickets for $5.
