CCU collaborates with Erskine College for Spring Choral Concert

Coastal Carolina University's Concert and Chamber Choirs will welcome the Erskine Choraleers as special guests at the Spring Choral Concert "How Can I Keep From Singing?" on Sunday, April 17, at 4 p.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church of Conway. General admission tickets are $7, and discounts are available.

The CCU choir, led by Terri Sinclair, associate professor of music at CCU, and the Erskine Choraleers, directed by Keith Timms, assistant professor of music at Erskine College, will collaborate in this spring concert. The centerpiece of the program will be John Rutter's "Gloria," a three-movement, 20-minute piece that will be accompanied by organ, brass and percussion.

The Erskine Choraleers is a 40-voice choir that performs sacred choral literature and is open to all students by competitive audition. The group performs an annual concert tour with an international tour every third year.

Senior citizens, OLLI members, alumni, teens, and CCU/HGTC faculty and staff may purchase tickets for $5. Tickets for children and CCU/HGTC students are $3. To purchase tickets, contact the Wheelwright Auditorium at 843-349-ARTS (2787) or visit between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets may also be purchased at ticketreturn.com. The auditorium is located at 108 Spadoni Park on the Conway campus.

St. Paul's Anglican Church is located at 710 Main St. in Conway.
