CCU student leaders for 2000-2001

Coastal Carolina University students have been elected or appointed to leadership positions in student government, student media and other student organizations for the 2000-2001 academic year.

The following students have been elected to Coastal's Student Government Association (SGA):

- David Woodley, senior sociology major of Myrtle Beach, S.C. - SGA president - Brett Hysinger, junior accounting major of Hixson, Tenn - SGA vice president. - Michelle Ward, sophomore elementary education major of Trenton, N.J. - SGA secretary - Eric Sauthoff, junior history major of Surfside Beach, S.C. - SGA treasurer

The following students have been named editors of Coastal's student publications:

- Phillip Sellers, sophomore computer science major of Conway, S.C., editor of The Chanticleer, the student newspaper - Lua Kozlow, junior English major of Myrtle Beach, S.C. - assistant editor of The Chanticleer - Norell B. Mitchell, senior elementary education major of Wheatley Heights, N.Y. - business manager of The Chanticleer - Kayatta Scott, junior English major of Conway, S.C. - editor of Archarios, the student art and literary magazine - Leah Miller, senior art studio major of Pawleys Island, S.C. - art director of Archarios - Heather Steere, senior English major of Pawleys Island, S.C. - editor of Tempo, the student feature magazine - Michael Slattery, sophomore marine science major of Charleston, S.C. - assistant editor of Tempo - Thomas Morrell, sophomore art studio major of Newton, N.J. - art director of Tempo
