Danny Roberts, one of the cast members of MTV's popular "Real World" series, will speak about gay issues on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Wall Auditorium on the Coastal Carolina University campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Roberts, a native of Georgia, is an alumnus of the Real World's New Orleans season. Since appearing on the groundbreaking reality-TV series, Roberts has established himself as an effective spokesman for the gay community. He also made a guest appearance on the season premiere of "Dawson's Creek."
His talk focuses on his personal journey from a small Southern town, and his aim is to present a message of positive self-belief, tolerance and acceptance.
