Two CCU students to experience internships in the South of France

January 28, 2020

Two Coastal Carolina University students are preparing to embark on an international journey this March. Kiley Decker '20 and Kristin Slovick '20 have won an award that will fund an internship experience working at MIPIM, a real estate exhibition, conference, and networking event of over 25,000 international property professionals, in Cannes, South of France.

The two students will work as interns for FIABCI at the MIPIM Exhibition. The weeklong internship includes participation in study tours of commercial and investment real estate projects in the region of France surrounding Nice and Cannes known as Alpes-Maritimes.

The CCU students, who are also Wall Fellows of the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration, will be joined by a third intern, Laurène Weizman, who is a student at the ESSEC College of Business in Paris, France, which is an academic member of FIABCI along with CCU.

All three internships are the result of donations from Tony and Carrie Grant of Murrells Inlet, SC who are the founders of the Grant Center for Real Estate and Economics at CCU. Tony Grant is Honorary President of FIABCI and a Past World President of the Federation.
