Coastal Carolina University student publications win awards

Coastal Carolina University student publications earned honors recently at the Associated Collegiate Press conference. The current issue of Tempo, Coastal's student magazine, won third place design awards for its contents page and for a feature article spread. Archarios, the student literary and art publication, won a fifth place design award for its content page, and second place in the best of show competition.

The staff members responsible for the Spring 2002 publication that were honored by the Associated Collegiate Press are:

Archarios art director Regis Minerd

Tempo's adviser is Nelljean Rice, assistant professor of English and journalism. Archarios' adviser is Paul Olsen, professor of art.
