Coastal Carolina University will soon feature a second Teal Nation retail store after a new lease agreement in downtown Conway was approved by its board of trustees during a special meeting today. The 1,500-square-foot store, located at 324 N. Main St., is anticipated to open on Sept. 1, 2023.

On March 1, CCU opened its first Teal Nation store at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, which has experienced robust foot traffic and sales.

The Teal Nation store in Conway will focus on offering CCU branded home goods and tailgating items. Similar to its sister location in Myrtle Beach, the new store will feature a range of high-quality, officially licensed CCU merchandise, including clothing, accessories, home décor, and gift items. A Teal Nation online store will be launching soon. The location will also offer visitors a place to learn more about enrolling at the University, purchase tickets for cultural arts and athletic events, and arrange tee times at CCU’s General James Hackler Golf Course, located adjacent to the institution’s campus. Under Armour serves as the University’s official outfitter.

Benson. “The proximity to campus makes this an excellent location to offer all things teal to our students, alumni, and friends. I am confident that the two Teal Nation locations will continue to expand our brand and complement what’s offered in our Chanticleer Store on campus, at the Hackler Golf Course, and in numerous retail outlets around the region.”

Teal Nation offers a 30% discount to CCU students, faculty, and staff as well as Alumni Association and Chanticleer Athletic Foundation members with valid CINO or membership cards.
