The South Carolina Small Business Development Center and the U.S. Small Business Administration will host a free workshop titled “Protect Your Intellectual Property (IP)” on Wednesday, March 13, from 1-2:30 p.m. on Coastal Carolina University’s campus (inside the Coastal Science Center, 301 Allied Drive, Conway, SC, 29526). The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

IP attorney Douglas Lineberry, with Burr & Forman LLP, will discuss basic IP protections and do’s and don’ts for clients to protect their IP.

The South Carolina Small Business Development Center’s mission is to advance South Carolina’s economic development by helping entrepreneurs grow successful businesses. The Myrtle Beach center is locally hosted by the University and serves Horry and Georgetown counties.
