Coastal Carolina University alumni will celebrate Homecoming Feb. 21 to 23. The event will mark the final year Coastal will celebrate Homecoming during the spring basketball season. Beginning in fall 2003, Homecoming will henceforth be scheduled as part of football season.

The highlights of the upcoming Homecoming celebration include:

- Alumni Happy Hour at Shamrock's in Myrtle Beach on Friday, Feb. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m.

- Alumni Oyster Roast and Pig Pickin' from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 on the Atheneum Terrace on the Coastal campus

- A women's basketball game (Coastal vs. Birmingham Southern) at 3 p.m. in Kimbel Arena

- The crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen during the men's basketball game (Coastal vs. UNC Asheville) at 5 p.m. on Saturday in Kimbel Arena.
