Coastal Carolina University students organize peace event

Students for Peace, a Coastal Carolina University student group, has organized an event designed to promote dialogue about peaceful solutions to American relations with Iraq. The event is scheduled for tomorrow, Feb. 19 beginning at noon on the Coastal campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The following events are scheduled:

- Noon to 2:30 p.m.: Speeches will be given by students and faculty on the Prince Lawn.

- 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Members of the audience will be invited to give "soapbox" speeches (limited to three minutes each) on the Prince Lawn.

- 4 to 5:30 p.m.: A roundtable, question-and-answer discussion will be led by Coastal faculty members and students in the Recital Hall of Coastal's Edwards Humanities and Fine Arts Building

- 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.: A candlelight vigil will be held on Prince Lawn.
