Jordan named to Wall College Board of Visitors

Charles B. Jordan has been named chair of the Board of Visitors of the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University.

Jordan is owner and president of Chancel Construction Group, Inc. A native of Conway, he attended Coastal Carolina College in 1963 and 1964 and earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina in 1968.

Jordan is chairman of the Conway Rotary Foundation and director of the Conway High School Education Foundation. He is a past president of the Horry-Georgetown Homebuilders Association and the Conway Rotary Club and past chair of the Conway Planning and Zoning Commission. Jordan was named Small Businessman of the Year in 1984 and 1992 by the Conway Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club. He received the 1992 Distinguished Service Award from the Conway Rotary Club.

The Wall College of Business Board of Visitors provides leadership and resources for the development of programs that address the academic needs of students as well as the business interests of the area. Forty- two area business and community leaders serve on the Board of Visitors.
