Singer-songwriter Mike Errico is performing Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. on the Student Deck at Coastal Carolina University. The rain location is the auditorium in the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration. The show is free and open to the public.

Errico, who is awaiting a new release called ,i>Skimming, expected to come out Sept. 23 on the Velour label, has been described as "pop/folk rock/soul and hiphop" by critics. Since the release of his 1999 debut, Pictures of the Big Vacation, Errico has spent his time touring, playing on independent labels with emerging artists and producing his live CD Tonight I Drink You All.

He has opened for artists as diverse as Rusted Root, Derek Trucks, North Mississippi Allstars, Bif Naked, Jon Doe and many more.
