Robert W. Honeycutt

Robert W. Honeycutt is the co-founder and chief visionary of SixAxis Manufacturing Technologies and its diverse portfolio of companies. In 2003, with business partner Fred Harmon, Honeycutt founded his first company, SafeRack, which delivers high-quality loading rack and fall protection solutions to companies. The firm opened its first manufacturing facility in Andrews, S.C., in 2005. By 2008, SafeRack appeared on Inc.'s “Fastest-growing Private Companies in America” list. The company generates significant employment opportunities and economic impact for the Andrews area of Georgetown County. The company initiated a $20 million expansion in 2016 that was expected to bring 100 new jobs to the region.

Honeycutt was awarded the honorary degree Doctor of Science at Coastal Carolina University during the May 2017 Commencement Ceremony.
