Message from the Director of Alumni Relations
Now is an exciting time to be a part of the Coastal Carolina alumni community. Many great things are happening on campus. Enrollment is growing – CCU is now home to more than 10,000 students – and construction is underway for some exciting new facilities, including the expansion of Brooks Stadium.
To keep pace with an ever-changing educational environment, to continue to expand our academic programs and to provide greater access for students, a major effort has been launched. I'M IN – The Endowment Campaign for Coastal Carolina University seeks to increase CCU's endowment by $20 million by 2020. I hope you will join me in this important effort to strengthen our University.
As a 1984 graduate, I am especially proud of the progress of our alumni. In cities and communities all across the country, and indeed around the world, you are making a difference. Your lives and achievements are bringing invaluable recognition to your alma mater. And as Coastal Carolina University advances in size and prestige, the value of your degree will increase as well.
I invite your active engagement with your University as advocates for education, mentors for students, supporters of scholarships and Chanticleer fans forever.
It is my hope that next time you return to campus, our long-held dream of an alumni center in Atheneum Hall will be complete. Please continue to visit us on the web and in person to watch this progress.
