Law Enforcement Appreciation Endowed Scholarship
for new and continuing students

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must meet the following criteria: 

1. Be admitted as an undergraduate student at CCU;
2. New freshman students must have a minimum 2.8 high school GPA;
3. New transfer students must have a minimum 2.8 collegiate GPA;
4. Continuing students must have a minimum 2.8 CCU GPA;
5. Must be employed as a Class 3 or Certified Law Enforcement Officer of Horry or Georgetown (SC) County, or be the child/grandchild of currently employed/retired Class 3 or Certified Law Enforcement Officer of Horry or Georgetown (SC) County;
6. Maintain part-time status and demonstrate satisfactory degree progress; and
7. Submit additional requirements described below.

Additional Requirements

1. Submit written documentation on official law enforcement letterhead for proof of current employment as a Class 3 or Certified Law Enforcement Officer of Horry or Georgetown (SC) County, or are child/grandchild of current/retired Class 3 or Certified Law Enforcement Officer of Horry or Georgetown (SC) County.

Failure to submit additional requirements will constitute an incomplete application and will not be considered.
