Psi ChiPsi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology. The Coastal Carolina University Chapter of Psi Chi has been active since 1990. Membership in Psi Chi is open to students who are psychology majors or minors and who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and a GPA of 3.25 or higher in psychology courses after completing 3 full-time semesters and at least 9 credits of psychology courses. Information about the next new member drive will be distributed to all psychology majors and minors via e-mail at specific times during the year, but new member applications can be completed anytime online at www.psichi.org. Be sure to indicate you want to join the Coastal Carolina University chapter when completing the application. New member applications will be reviewed and processed after the yearly deadline, and applicants will be contacted about the status of their applications. Psychology ClubThe Psychology Club is a student-run social organization open to all students with an interest in psychology. The club sponsors fundraisers for local organizations, invites speakers to campus, and arranges trips to local and regional psychology conferences. The Psychology Club was originally started in 1993.
